1900-59 Covers, cards and wrappers sent to, from or within Cyprus but undelivered and returned, with "RETURNED LETTER OFFICE / CYPRUS" c.d.s (2, on 1900-01 wrappers) or similar Nicosia c.d.s (4), an internal 1959 cover with red "INCONNU" and boxed "RETOUR". Also a 1922 card from Algeria to Larnaca marked "Refuse" and returned via Egypt with boxed "RETOUR / A L£ENVOYEUR" and a hand shaped "RETOUR" possibly applied in Cyprus. (7).

1929 (June 5) Registered cover to India franked 7pi, to include an extra 3pi fee for the overland desert mail service, bearing "Service Transdesertique / Syro-Iraquien Damas-Bagdad" label, the stamps and label all tied by oval Limassol Registered datestamps. Mail for this route had to bear this label and be franked an additional 3pi per ounce from June 1929 until October 1930, when the extra fee was abolished; very little mail was sent due...

1948 Registered air mail cover to Southern Rhodesia franked on the reverse by KGVI 18pi, handstamped scarce boxed "AR", with Registered Famagusta datestamps and an Umtali arrival c.d.s.
