1834 Entire letter from Canton to London "p. Francis Charlotte", landed at Dover where boxed "DOVER / INDIA LETTER" was incorrectly applied, overstruck with the correct "SHIP LETTER / DOVER", a second strike alongside, all in black. The interesting letter concerns trade between China and Philippines, and South America. Pressed file folds, otherwise fine, an unusual corrected India letter error from China. Photo on Page 94.
