1863-67 6d Green watermark Star upright, imperforate, four margins, portions of the adjacent stamps at left and right, undoubtedly imperforate vertically and probably imperf on all sides, used with A02 cancel. The 1d value is listed imperf between by S.G., but this variety has not been recorded on the 6d value. NSW used in New Caledonia. 1907 Picture postcard bearing New South Wales 1/2d and 1d each with a fine "NOUMEA / NOUVELLE CALEDONIE" c.d.s, sent locally to a Brigadier in the French Colonial forces, commentating on his £excellent crossing£. Very fine and unusual.
