1898 Registered cover with 3d tied by vertical "R.L.O" obliterator and red oval "REGISTERED / RETD LT OFFICE" datestamp. Also 1d red block of six and single stamps (2) with the same "R.L.O" cancel, and single 1d reds (4) with the horizontal "RLB" cancel. A scarce lot, the RLB cancel very rare on cover. (8). NPB/Inland Branch. 1868-70 Wrappers (11), fronts (2), pieces (2) and stamps (29) all with the English type D27-D56 vertical obliterators, issued to the Inland Branch but believed to have been used at the Newspaper Branch, a very scarce group. (44).

London E.C. c1870-1942 Wrappers, covers and cards (47), stamps and pieces (77), mainly pre-1910, various E.C obliterators, some with letters or numbers, including circular "1/E.C" or "2/E.C" on 1/2d violet postcards (7), also later London or London F.S obliterators, "BS", "LS" and "BM" obliterators possibly used outside London, etc. A fine study on pages. 1877-1962 Wrappers and cards (37), stamps and pieces (75), various datestamps including c.d.s with a thick bar and London horizontally across the circle (9); c.d.s with London and the date horizontally across the circle and alternate groups of vertical and horizontal bars around the circle (81); rectangular or octagonal framed "N.P.B" and date (13); "N.P.B" c.d.s (9), etc. An interesting lot on pages. 1878-1920 Wrappers and cards (137), stamps and pieces (144) with similar type cancels to the previous lot, but all showing numbers of suburban offices, from "1" to "117", also 833 of Chingford and G78 of Upper Edmonton, includes a tiny 1906 parcel tag to Canada franked KEVII 2 1/2d and 5d tied by 60 cancel of Kilburn. A fine and scarce study in a F.G Warwick album. (281).
