1892-99 Commercial covers, the first with a 1d lilac and L.S.W.R 2d letter stamp both cancelled by London S.W squared circles and light oval Sway Station handstamps; the second with 1d lilac and Midland Railway 2d letter stamp both cancelled by Kettering squared circles. (2).

1916 1d Postal stationery envelope to Rugeley Camp bearing a 1/2d stamp and G.W.R 2d letter stamp each cancelled by violet boxed G.W.R Carbis Bay datestamp, the two postage stamps also cancelled Great Western T.P.O Going East datestamps, light seal stain, otherwise fine and a scarce railway letter cancelled on a T.P.O.

T.P.Os. 1930-86 Covers and cards (virtually all pre 1971), the collection mounted in three F.G albums, mainly very fine strikes, many philatelic though some are commercial, includes registered mail with T.P.O datestamps on the blank type registration labels (63), "Posted Without Late Fee" handstamps (172), first and last day services, a few bundle labels, C.O.Ps and some pieces. (Approx 490 covers).

1853 Registered entire from Liverpool to London bearing 1841 2d blue strip of four each cancelled "466", the right stamp very close at base, otherwise very fine with margins on all sides. Photo on Page 50.

1879 Registered bankruptcy form from Truro to Falmouth franked 2 1/2d rosy mauve plate 12, paying the 1/2d printed matter rate + 2d registration, charged 1/2d upon redirection to Helston, with the very scarce "(crown) / REGISTERED" handstamp of Truro in blue. A very unusual and scarce cover, from the Vivien Sussex collection.

1918 KGV 2d Size H registration envelope from London E.C to Switzerland inscribed "Fee 5/10 paid. Ins. for £400" and "10,000 Fcs, 81grs" with a red Insured label applied, franked by 1/2d (3), 1d, 10d and De La Rue 5/-. Censored with an Opened by Examiner seal and two wax seals (one over part of the 5/- stamp) each impressed "WAR OFFICE / POSTAL CENSOR", the London E.C registration label with "E.C" crossed out and replaced by handstruck "PC",...

AR Mail. 1910-74 Registered covers handstamped "AR" (7) and "AR" forms or cards (11) including 1897 form sent within Ireland, other forms bearing KEVII stamps (2) or KGV stamps (2), etc. (18).

Basingstoke. 1842-50 Entire letters with red "Pd/1" (2 types), "Pd/2" (2 types, one unrecorded in the BCC) or the very scarce "Pd/4" used on letters weighing over 1oz. (5).
