Confederacy, New Orleans, La., 1861, 5¢ brown, vertical pair. Large to huge margins, tied by "New Orleans, La., Oct 13" (1861) cds's on light buff cover to Helena Ark., slightly reduced on the diagonal at right, still an Extremely Fine pair and attractive cover, ex-Kilbourne.

Confederacy, New Orleans, La., 1861, 5¢ yellow brown on off-white. Position 6, huge side margins and full to clear at top and bottom, tied by well-struck "New Orleans La., Dec 10" (1861) cds on cover to Tallahassee Fla., left edge of cover reduced with a portion added at upper left, otherwise Very Fine, an attractive third printing usage, ex-Skinner.

Confederacy, 1861, 5¢ green, two singles. Margins large to clear, just barely in at bottom right on left stamp, tied by blue "Petersburg, Va., Feb 21" cds on Carroll Hoy & Co. correspondence cover, with blue "R.A. Young & Bro. Genl. Commission Merchants" cameo corner card, Very Fine and attractive.

Confederacy, 1862, 2¢ green. Horizontal pair, sharp bold strike of Greensborough, Ala. town cancel, margins ample to touching; small scissor separation cut at bottom between stamps ending in small tear, Fine, listed but unpriced in the Scott catalog.
