One of only around a dozen non-Liberty Loan franked covers that were flown. Rare (Muller 25.000 ptas).

A fine and rare entire with long and interesting letter.

Struck with oval FR./2F 20c Accountancy marking in black; London and Leicester cds´s on reverse (Nov 22) and charged 8d. due in manuscript. A rare marking (Salles ´Pièce d´amatuer´) and a most unusual usage of this marking addressed to the UK.
