Freeman & Co's. Express, Panama, Cova & Co. Agents. Red oval on blue folded letter to San Francisco from Panama dated December 17, 1855, Extremely Fine and choice, by now Cova had his own handstamp, very scarce.

Printed scroll frank in scroll with mailing instructions above (Bauer type 6) on 1861, 3¢ Star Die entire to Madison, Wis., clear "Hinckley & Co.'s Express, Denver City, Feb. 7, 1861" cds, indicia canceled by green grid with matching "Saint Joseph, Mo., Feb 16" cds alongside, forwarded to Necedah, Wis. with manuscript "Due 3cts" in pencil and "Madison Wis., Feb. 25, 1861" forwarding cds,...

Martin's Spokane Falls & Wardner Stage & Express Line. Two-line frank in red, on unused 2¢ brown entire, Very Fine and scarce, ex-Barkhausen.

Pacific Express Co., Sonora. Clear strike of red oval handstamp on 1853, 3¢ Nesbitt entire to San Francisco, Extremely Fine.

Pacific Union Ex. Co., Suisun, Oct 21 (Solano). Blue cds (PAU-100) canceling on 1864, 3¢ pink entire to San Francisco, with greenish gray J.M. Coghlan, Attorney, Suisun City, Cala. allover shaded ad, red ribbon frank at left, Very Fine and choice, the only recorded example from Suisun on an advertising cover.

Wells Fargo & Co., Bodie, Cal., Jan 23. Dark violet oval date stamp canceling on 1874, 2¢ vermilion entire to San Francisco, black company frank and reverse with 1884 receiving date stamp, Very Fine.

Wells Fargo & Co., Usage to Ireland. Black company frank on 1874, 6¢ vermilion entire to Ireland, with "Ogd. & San Fran., Agt., Apr 10, 1883" cds and "E" handstamp, forwarded multiple times in Ireland with numerous transit backstamps and "opened in error" notation on reverse with seal at top, triangle dead letter office date stamp; cover wear and tone spots, Fine.

Wells Fargo & Co., Sac. City, Nov 23. Blue double-oval postmark cancels 3¢ red (U10) buff entire with printed Wells Fargo paid frank and Bamber & Co. wagon drawn by six horse team imprint at left, addressed to Todds Valley Cal.; flap and opening tear at top, Very Fine appearance, ex-Haas.

Wells Fargo & Co., Express, Sacramento. Blue oval handstamp on 1853, 3¢ Nesbitt entire to Sonora, with Blue Company Printed Frank at top left, Very Fine, a choice example of this rare special company frank.

It is speculated that the blue frank designated special carriage on the Sacramento River steamboats, because Wells Fargo's handstamped "Steamboat" markings cease to appear...

Wells Fargo & Co., Express, Sonoma. Blue oval handstamp cancelling on 1855, 10¢ Nesbitt entire to New York, with company Red Frank at top center, with two strikes of Metropolitan Errand & Carrier Express "C.O.D." boxed handstamp for local delivery in New York, F.-V.F., a rare western express and N.Y. local combination.

Wells Fargo & Co., Unionville Nev., Dec 21. Clearly struck blue oval datestamp on 3¢ pink entire (U58) with type E printed frank to San Francisco; minor opening tears at upper left; missing small part of flap, otherwise Very Fine.
