In combination with 2r black on green quadrille on 1867 folded letter to Zacatecas, tied by neat Guadalajara oval date stamp (Schatzkes 295) with second clear strike at left, Very Fine, only 10-12 covers are known bearing the 1r gray blue, with 1998 MEPSI certificate.

Guadalajara, 1867, 2r black on white. Tied by neat exceptionally clear wreath cancel (Schatzkes 298) on folded letter sheet to Leon, matching oval date stamp (Schatzkes 295) dated on the first month of the issue January 23, 1867; some faint toning, otherwise Very Fine, with 1999 MEPSI certificate.
