20l. deep ultra marine (coarse impression) with greyish wash, extreme coarse impression, used. Hard printing method, very early printings. Only 2 margins. SECOND choise stamp, but RARE. (Hellas 13Ia).

40l. dull mauve on blue (coarse impression), used. Fine to Very Fine. Scarce. (Hellas 14Ib).

1l. bistre-brown, used. Fine. Scarce. (Hellas 9IIb).

2l. bistre mint copy, clear to good margins all around. Plate flaw "white line on the Greek border" with fresh colour copy. Fine. (Hellas 10IIa).

Entire letter cover fr. with 10l. in pair with very intense yellowish wash, cancelled "ΑΘΗΝΑΙ (1)*6.ΝΟΕΜ.62" to Aigion. Ex. Lascarides collection. Upper margin narrow touches the frame line (right stamp) but very rare. (Hellas 12IIa).

40l mauve on blue (oxidised color shade) in pair tied by "99" (ΙΩΑΝΝΙΝΑ) cds. Very fine appearance but right stamp torn at top. Still fine for this. Rare in used pair. (Hellas 14IIa).

40l mauve on blue, uneven control numbers (Kound. 19.2), used. This is the item depicted in Koundouros book. Three margins but rare. (Hellas 14IIaNs).

1862 Entire letter from "MARSEILLE*8 FEVR. 62", arr. "ΣΥΡΟΣ (67)*2 ΦΕΒΡ. 62". On arrival taxed with 2l. bistre (fine impression) + 10l. ochre-orange (coarse impression) + 40l. mauve on blue (Paris) + 80l. rose-carmine (Paris), 132 Lepta, cancelled with dot. "67". Only 40l. stamp Very Fine, the rest with faults. Beautiful 4-colour franking. (Hellas 12Ia+10IIa+6a+7a).

1l. chocolate-brown with vertically laid background on fragment, used, dot. "106" blue. Very Fine. (Hellas 15a).
