Auction # 2609 ARGENTINA: Special March auction

GJ.TAR-4, double 6c. postal cards, the "communication" part used on 15/JA/1890 and the "response" part used as communication, used on 28/MAY/1889, both sent to Italy and returned to sender, very interesting!

Over 50 wrappers of ½c. used between 1890 and 1892, most sent to Buenos Aires and all returned to sender, there is a wide range of interesting postal markings, unusual lot with a very low starting price!

Spectacular cover with printed advertising (hotel, carpenter´s shop, medicine, gold watches, sewing machines, food, etc.), franked with 8c. and sent from B.Aires to New York on 22/OC/1890, with opening defects but extremely rare and attractive!!

9 Wrappers of 2c. (GJ.FAJ-14) sent in 1891 to European countries and returned to sender with attractive postal markings, in general of very fine quality, unusual lot!

BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF POSTAL HISTORY: 2c. Lettercard sent to San Juan on 29/AP/1892 from "Sucursal Palermo" in Buenos Aires. The postage was insufficient, and therefore the "Oficina Central de Carga" office intervened (see multiple markings on front and back), applying an additional 2c stamp to bring the franking up to the correct rate (back, 2c. Extremely rare private lettercard with impression on back of "thermal baths of Rosario de la Frontera, the best waters of the world, Mar Chiquita lake 8 blocks from the establishment", sent to B.Aires on 7/AU/1903 franked with 5c. Seated Liberty cancelled "ROSARIO DE LA FRONTERA - BAÑOS, SALTA", excellent

14 Covers used in early XX century franked with stamps of the Seated Liberty issue, there are some interesting cancels and postages, in general very fine quality, good opportunity!

Airmail cover sent to England on 10/SE/1939 franked with 1.40P. consisting of pairs of GJ.819/21 (Sarmiento), back flap missing, VF!

PERON, PERONISM: Couple of registered covers with free frank of the Eva Perón Foundation, both with handstamps with different propaganda inscriptions supporting the 2nd Quinquennial Plan, very interesting and scarce!
