Philately, Postal History, Space and Postcards are present in Vaccari public auction, catalogue no.89.
In the section devoted to Philately and Postal History, lots range from “various subjects” to foreign destinations and/or mail to Italy, that is “Incoming Mail”. Italian classic material, which Vaccari are specialist in, is mainly represented; there are Preadhesive and Old Italian States, among which different rarities emerge in an absolute sense, and the Italian Kingdom is well represented. Also the modern section, such as Italian Republic and S.Marino, is provided with good material. Generally speaking, interesting items can be found in single lots, but in bulky ones too.
Among Air mail, 2 Zeppelin lots of rare availability stand out. Space starts with the rarest moon space letter, Apollo 16 example n.17 of 25, and continues with a beautiful overview of space mail USSR-RUSSIA largely flown and an ISS rarity, one of the 11 official postcards sent for the first time from the International Space Station.
In Postcards, a general overview that focuses on Aviation and on lots, with a large selection of thousands of postcards (above all Regionalism of whole Italy and Military) at very competitive prices!
