NORWAY - SPITSBERGEN: Issues of the Store Norske Spitsbergen Kulkompani 10 Öre 1921/22 black on blue-green underprint, series F No. 819, reverse black, signatures Carl Lundh and Sigurd Foss (printed), Saethre-Gunnar Eldorsen cat. No. SN4, an extremely rare note in about uncirculated or better condition. Pick unlisted.

NORWAY - SPITSBERGEN: Issues of the Store Norske Spitsbergen Kulkompani 1 Krone 1921-22 black on yellow-green underprint, series F.No. 1020, reverse black, Saethre-Gunnar Eldorsen cat. doesn't mention any remainders of these type of note, the issued one is listed as No. SN21 and the catalogue mentions that it is only known in public collections, about uncirculated or better and a major rarity of the area, Pick unlisted

SWEDEN: very substantial collection of 28 notes starting with the very early 1800s issues and continuing all the way through to present time, overall good condition and also included are what appear to be four paper and printing samples from the 1800s, uncommon to say the least

AFGHANISTAN: small but substantial collection of 25 notes beginning with the early issues, some imperfections here and there, but nice quality throughout with many notes UNC or thereabouts, uncommon like this

CHINA: Hunan Provinicial Bank, 10 Coppers 1.1.1917 blue and pink, perforated with Chinese characters at left and showing two very faint handstamps on the front (probably "cancelled"), minimal paper adhesion on the back, crisp paper and fresh colours. Extremely fine, Pick S2056

CHINA, Islamic Republic of Turkustan, Khotan issue, note resembling the 100 Silver Dachin of 1933 (Pick S3039) however printed in blue and red on native paper instead of cloth, black handstamp on the back, interesting and very fine, considering the fragile nature of the paper.

GUINEA: 1971-81 issues virtually complete less one banknote (Pick 18), all very decorative and some uncommon. Pick No. 16, 17, 19-27 UNC

IRANIAN: Azerbaijan 50 Tomans 1946blue on light blue underprint remainder, an undervalued note, Pick, S106r, uncirculated

JAPAN: 1.000 Yen ND (1963) serial number in blue with double letter prefix, Pick 96 d, UNC in PMG holdergraded 66 EPQ.
