1867-70 Stampless covers to Bombay with boxed "BUSHIRE / P.O. / BEG 2 ANNA" and Bushier c.d.s type C4a, or similar boxed 1Anna handstamp and type C5a Bushire c.d.s, the second cover rather crudely repaired. (2).

1871 Cover to England bearing 1/2a block of four and 4a tied by two superb strikes of Bushire "26" duplex type C5, a large opening tear through the two right 1/2a stamps, still an attractive and very scarce cover; and 1877 cover to Bombay franked on the reverse by 1/2a pair and 2a tied by two strikes of Bashir "K-5" duplex type C9, a fine cover. First flights include 1925 Teheran to Bushire, 1928 Teheran to Bushire first regular flight (4) and Bushire to Teheran (2), 1929 Bushire to London (2), also internal flights from 1929, boxed "PAR AVION JUSQU£A / LA FRONTIER" on 1929 cover to Germany, 1937 "PAR AVION JUSQU A. (Paris R.P)", and a 1929 cover from Germany...

1916-18 Covers with circular violet "PASSED CENSOR / BUSHIRE", one a superb strike on a cover to England signed by Capt. Hotson bearing 1911-13 1ch, 2ch, 3ch and 6ch, and internal covers franked 6ch or 9ch from Chiraz (2) or Mohammerah, the censor marks on these all a little faint or incomplete in places, one with Persian "S" Sandooq handstamp applied to mail posted into post boxes distant from the town post office. 1911-13 1ch - 24ch (9 values, the 5ch damaged) and 1909 issue 3ch with "1333" (1915) handstamp all with the Kazerun rebel overprint, which was applied to the stamp after being affixed to covers, and is therefore only known on used stamps. This overprint is illustrated and described by Gibbons, though they do not list the individual overprinted stamps. A few a little stained, a scarce group. (10). Photo on Page 84.

Mint selection comprising 1ch (2), 2ch, 3ch, 5ch, 6ch (2), 9ch (2), 10ch, 12ch (3), 24ch, 1kr, 2kr, 3kr and 5kr, mainly fine and scarce, just 257 5ch stamps overprinted, one 1ch stamp and one 12ch stamp unusually with offsets, various settings, nearly all identified in pencil on the reverse. Staining to one 6ch, one 9ch and 2kr, 24ch with faults, 5kr with small gum thin, otherwise mainly fine. The 5ch, 2kr, 3kr and 5kr with B.P.A...

1915 (Aug 16) Long cover sent locally in Bushire franked on reverse by 1ch (IIA8), 2ch (IA8), 3ch (IA3), 6ch (IB8), 9ch (IIIA3), 10ch (IIIA3) and 10kr (IA8), just 866 10kr stamps overprinted, this example with the variety 2mm gap between "Under" and "British" (just 76 examples possible), each tied by the Bouchir Depart c.d.s.
