Kelleher auctions, America’s oldest philatelic auction firm, proudly announces their Spring-Summer 2016 sale to be conducted at the firm's Hong Kong offices located at 50 Gloucester Rd., Wan Chai, Hong Kong on November 5-6. The two day sale will feature over 1,100 lots.
Day one begins with a wonderful array of stamps and postal history from the Municipal Posts through the Imperial issues and continuing on through the Silver Yuan era into Provinces, Occupations and Foreign Mail. The Shanghai Large Dragons are a definite highlight, with a splendid array of rarities. China proper includes many collection lots along with excellent sections of Large and Small Dragons, Red Revenues and Dowager issues etc. Taiwan follows, and includes many of the sought after sets. Hong Kong and Japan are also well represented.
Day two will be solely dedicated to the issues of the People’s Republic of China, and will include over 500 lots, including Liberated Areas, unified issues and collections.
