Windham. 1911 (Sep 9) Bright green London to Windsor envelope (Sep 12, 6PM arrival backstamp of Reading suggesting it was flown on flight 7 on the morning of Sep 12th), the front signed "C.H Greswell" and "W. Windham". Two small scrapes to top edge, otherwise fine and very scarce with signatures of both the pilot and the organiser of the Aerial Post. Photo on Page 16.

Walter Lendon, designer of the stationery. 1911 (Sep 16) Dark green Windsor to London postcard with KGV 1/2d tied superb Windsor c.d.s code "2", a Cricklewood arrival c.d.s (Sep 18, 12.15 am) carried on the second flight on Sep 17th, boldly signed on the front "Warwick Lendon", an uncommon signature on a Windsor card. 1844 Numeral. 1844 (May 1) Large part letter (side flaps removed) with a 1d red (3 margins) cancelled by "498" numeral of Manchester, a clear MY 1 datestamp on reverse and a Wilmslow undated circle on the front. A rare first day use of the numeral cancels which replaced the Maltese Cross on May 1st. Photo on Page 18.
