1911 (Sep 9) First UK Aerial Post, violet £privileged mail£ postcard with printed "Souvenir of the First United Kingdom £Aerial Post£. With the compliments of the Founder", signed W. Windham, addressed to his wife in India with KEVII 1/2d and KGV 1/2d each tied by the special London Aerial Post c.d.s, an arrival c.d.s of Jodhpur (Oct. 1). Very few of these special cards were produced for Windham, the organiser of both the 1911 UK and India Aerial Posts, and its use to India is probably unique. Creases, mainly to the two lower corners, but an exceptional item from Windham to his wife in India. Photo on Page 149.
