After three months was resend to the destinatary who worked in Abu Dhabi where it was right taxed by the occasional use of an 1 Dh postage stamp. LATE TAXED COVER and MAYBE UNIQUE CASE RECORDED OF NORMAL STAMP USED AS TAX DUE TO OFFSET THE GAP OF POSTAGE .

USA. Long letter sent from Philadelphia on 30/SEP/1833 to Bordeaux via Le Havre, taxed for 15 Decimes in arrive on 1/NOV/1833 in Bordeaux (back cancel). VERY NICE AND SCARCE.
