Somalia. Incoming cover from Gibraltar franked for 1Sh, sent on 26/8/1950 to Fermo Posta in Chisimaio, Somalia. The cover was franked for to pay the airmail rate, but "no service available by air" justifies the shipping "by surface service" that forced a long journey by sea, reaching the destination on 10/10/1950 (back Chisimaio cancel) and finally was delivered to the addressee on 10/12/1950, upon payment of the fee for Fermo Posta with a...

Somalia. Air mail cover sent from Hargesia on 26/6/1960 to Aden. Franked with Italian AFIS stamps overprinted "Somaliland Independence 26/June 1960". SCARCE.
