Duplex ties 5¢ Trans-Mississippi (288), rich color, on cover to Springfield Mass., Aug. 5th receiving backstamp; some toning affects stamp and a light corner crease at top right, Very Fine appearance desirable with the exposition cancel, This is from a partial set of individual uses up to the 10¢ value created by J.W. Witty.

Pan-American Railway Post Office, Buffalo N.Y., May 18 1901. Complete strike of duplex on Pan-American Railway Post Office facing slip pre-printed to Detroit, Mich., purple "E.G. Stackpole," straightline handstamp; mounted on envelope backing, tone spot, a Very Fine strike, One of only 5 strikes on facing slips from the RPO car, this being the only example with the Stackpole handstamp.

Unusually full and clear strike of Barry machine cancel with expo slogan ties 1¢ Pan-American (294) on expo post card to Brooklyn N.Y., Jul. 17th receiver, Very Fine, A remarkable example of this machine cancel, one of the most complete strikes known.
