Seated Liberty, 16 different COLOR PROOFS in blocks of 4 printed on normal paper (with watermark, with gum, and perf 11½), very fine general quality (a few stamps with a small defect), very rare group. NOTE: There are less than 100 examples of each color in existence, this lot of proofs is from a very old collection (Rigamonti-Rappi) of 1940s/50s. One of the blocks has DOUBLE PERFORATION below.
