The Teese & Co. stamp with ample margins all around, a most remarkable example. Both stamps tied by an indistinct "PA. MAY 21, (1852)" postmark, addressed to Strosburg, Penn.
Steven M. Roth recorded twelve Teese and Co. covers in his 1993 Penny Post...

Kane describes this 10c stamp as a previously unreported discovery, and is one of only two known. He notes that most of the remaining examples likely were lost during the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.

Datelined November 26, 1844 (answered) folded letter from Detroit to Buffalo. Frajola notes that stamps were recorded as "picked away" late in the life of the post. The latest recorded usage is November 28, 1844.
