Auction # 2548 ARGENTINA: Special December auction

Certificate dated in RÍO 1º (Córdoba) for 3 "round trips" made weekly in November 1897 by contractor Gregorio M. Gordillo who carried the mail to Santa Rosa, across Los Guindos, Mancillas and Alvarez, with compulsory postge of 5c. and nice double circle mark with part of the date hand-written, excellent!

Certificate dated in Rio Cuarto (Córdoba) for 3 "round trips of STAGECOACH MAIL" made in October 1898 by contractor Leónidas Centeno who carried the mail to Córdoba, across Chucul, Maminday, Boca del Sauce, Saucesito, Las Peñas, Paso de Tomas, El Salto, Las Bajadas, Alto del Sacancho, San Agustín, Los Molinos, San Antonio, Bajo Grande and Alto de las Videlas, with compulsory postage of 5c. and nice double circle mark, excellent!

2c. Mitre postal card (GJ.TAR-36) + 5c. Seated Liberty (GJ.222) sent from Rosario to Italy on 26/JUN/1901, charged for being shortpaid. In Milano it received postage due stamps for 25c., very fine quality, interesting combination!

11/AU/1902 Luján to USA, registered cover franked with stamps of the issue "Seated Liberty" 5c. + 24c. (apparently with 2c. too many), on back transit mark os of B.Aires and New York arrival, excellent!

26/JUN/1904 CHACABUCO to Sweden, 4c. lettercard + 2x 4c. Seated Liberty, total 12c., on back arrival mark (partial, most of it was in the margin that that was removed to open it), excellent quality!

14/MAY/1955 Buenos Aires to Paris, postcard with nice view of a Douglas D.C.4 airplane of Air France, carried on the flight commemorating the 25th anniversary of the first crossing of the South Atlantic, with arrival mark of Paris 15/MAY and signature of the pilot DABRY, excellent!

Cinderella sold by postmen for 5c. (circa 1945), view of ovenbird and their nest on a telegraph post, large block of 50, rare and very handsome!
