AROUND THE WORLD in 180? days: Postcard originally franked with stamp of 6c. Seated Liberty, dispatched in DE/1904 and sent successively to: Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Paris (France), Roma (Italy), Tokyo (Japan) and New York (USA), with combined postage of all these countries, many cancellations, eventually returned to Buenos Aires in circa JUN/1905, very nice!

CRASH COVER: Airmail cover sent from Buenos Aires to Paris on 8/MAY/1930 by Aeroposta Argentina, the airplane crashed in Montevideo on 10/MAY, it shows evident signs of water damage and a violet backstamp "Accident d´Avion - Correspondances recaellies en mer - NE PAS TAXER", the pilot was Negrin and the airplane the "L210 Schwaben", very attractive!

PLANE CRASH: Registered airmail cover sent from Buenos Aires to Austria on 20/OC/1937, the airplane of the C.G.A. crashed in Cap Blanc (Africa), only 2 bags of mail were rescued after a few days, one floating in the sea and the other one carried by the waves to the beach. The few letters that were recoved had evident signs of the effect of sea water, and received a mark: "Courrier sinistré - reconstitué par les soins du - Bureau de Casablanca...

27/AU/1952 Buenos Aires to Salliqueló, registered cover with declared value, it bears a spectacular postage of 22.30P. including a 20P. Cotton without watermark of the "Proceres y Riquezas I" issue combined with stamps of the Eva Perón issue, on back there is a number of official seals, very fine quality, rare!

Postcard with view of "Marine Hotel" sent on 14/MAY/1900 by the (future) Argentine Antarctic hero José María Sobral to his father Enrique in Buenos Aires (during his training in the FIRST JOURNEY OF FRIGATE SARMIENTO), with a corner crease else of fine quality, VERY RARE DESTINATION and signed by a famous Antarctic explorer! José Sobral spent 20 months in Antarctica betwen 1902 and 1903 as a member of Nordenskjold´s expedition.

Extremely rare franking of twin values, excellent quality!
