Group of 23 illustrated cover fronts, all about 4½" x 3½", addressed to a Miss Sargent in Bristol; nine are pen & ink, the rest watercolor including some quite elaborate and primarily quite skillfully done. Most are franked with a 1d lilac and all are postmarked Cardiff; a few are trimmed into the stamp and there is a bit of toning and such, accompanied by a 9x11½"...

Hand delivered cover with skillfully rendered Portrait of Young Women design, inscribed "Many happy return of the Day, To Dora, from GME, 20 Sept 1900" from artist George Henry Edwards to his sister on her birthday, Very Fine, the only known cover from the Edwards correspondence to be hand delivered by the artist.
