Reverse with HAMBURG arrival cds and charged 3 sgr. Postage Due. A most unusual cover. Certificate Brettl. Michel 3.

Extraordinarily early ´Multiple Advertising Letter Sheet´ used to MODENA with well over 60 printed adverts for Viennese businesses including Bicycles, Engravers, Fabrics, Forwarding Agents, Harmonicas, Hotels, Pianos, Printing, Shoes, Tailors etc. franked by 1850-54 9kr. blue tied by VIENNA cds. A magnificent and extremely rare item of Social History.

Cover from TRIEST to ROME with rare 16 kreuzer rate paid by 1867 2kr. yellow in a horizontal strip of three and a single 10kr. blue tied by oval TRIEST datestamps in black and by pen cross denoting full prepayment. Reverse with Venice transit and Rome arrival (7/9). A scarce cover. Certificate FERCHENBAUER.

AUSTRIA. Sc.29, 30, 31. 1871 (Sept. 21). Three colour franking cover to BARCELONA (Spain) bearing 1867 5kr. rose red, 10kr. blue and 15kr. brown all tied by VIENNA datestamps in black. Red ´PD´ and manuscript ´20´ credit in crayon, reverse with Barcelona arrival cds. A scarce and attractive franking to an unusual destination.

Framed RECOM at right. Flap missing but a RARE rate and an interesting cover.
