1695 Entire backstamped with Dockwra type "B / MON" Payd Peny Post handstamp (Jay 331) of the Bishopsgate office and circular "W / Mor / 10" time handstamp, small piece of flap torn away around the seal and minor soiling, a good example of these uncommon handstamps.

1794 Experimental Period. 1794 Entire letters all prepaid 1d with purple "(crown) / PAID" (Jay 406) or "Penny Post / B / Paid" (Jay 412), or red circular "PENNY POST PAID" datestamp (8 Nov., Jay 414, only known in November), all rather smudged strikes but still very scarce. Also a piece with circular framed "(crown) / P. POST / PAID" (Jay 410). (4).

1794 Experimental Period. 1794 Entire letters with very scarce "7 OCLOCK EVEN W" c.d.s (Jay 400a, only recorded in May), or with the datestamp "2 o£clock / 7 JU 94 / AFN" (Jay 402), the c.d.s with a few letters rather faint though easily readable overall. (2).
