Japan 1875 - 1 Sen Brown Cherry Blossom with Syllabic 3 (ha) on Foreign Paper, on Cover. A scarce example of the classic 1 sen brown Cherry Blossom issue printed on foreign paper, featuring the distinctive katakana syllabic “ha” (Syll. 3) in the margin. The stamp is affixed to a cover mailed from Osaka city drop mail, dated 7.7.1875, cancelled with Kiban Ne-1 and additionally with N1B1 Osaka cancellations dated 8.7.17.

Japan 1901, A cover franked with 5 rin and six 3 sen brown-purple stamps on the reverse; money-issued mail sent in a regular envelope. Canceled by a single-ring postmark with horizontal line, IGA UENO, dated 34.12.5 

Japan — Folded lettercard PC6, used from Shizuoka, dated 15.8.9, to Tokyo, arriving 15.8.11. A late usage of this folded type. At lower right, a hakoda (letter agency) mark reads “Niniuku” of Shizuoka–Niniukuchō.

Japan 1916, Prince Heir Apparent 10 sen — Scott 154, Michel 129 / MiNr 129. Deep blue, mint never hinged (MNH), extremely fine centering, vivid fresh color, and full original gum. Japan 1894 Silver Wedding 2 sen — Scott 85, MiNr 69, JSCA C1.Unused, Very Fine, with fresh color and clean perforations, centered well. Issued to commemorate the Silver Wedding anniversary of Emperor Meiji and Empress Shōken. Perf 11½, a scarcer perforation variety noted in JSCA but unpriced.

Netherlands 1913 Centenary of Independence, complete set of 12 stamps (Unificato MiNr 81–92), all hinged. SG 109–120. Catalog value €1,500.
