1905 Picture postcard (a Photo of pigs!) to Great Yarmouth with KEVII 1/2d tied by violet oval "MANCHESTER / ADVANCE POSTED / CHRISTMAS ....", the year not readable in the cancel though the sender has clearly dated the message 1905. A scarce use of this violet datestamp on a postcard and most unusually addressed to Great Yarmouth, the advance posting scheme supposedly only for local mail at this date. Photo on Page 24.
