Philately Public Auction

we are pleased to invite you at our next Auction at Palazzo Giureconsulti - Terrace hall, Milan, on Saturday October 1st, from 10.30 a.m. This year the auction will be even richer than usual, with a large quantity of rare and selected material for the most discerning collectors. We will be focusing on:

- Italian States: with a wide selection of unique items including: a mint Naples “Crocetta” ex Ferrary; one of the finest used Tuscany 3 Lire. Covers include: an outstanding 4 color combination of the 1st issue of Lombardy Venetia; the finest strip of 4 of the green-yellow 5c of the Provisional Government of Parma; a pair of the 3L of the Sardinian Kingdom; two blocks of 10 of the Sardinian brown 10c; and much more;

- Great Britain and British Colonies: with some of the most important rarities in the field including: a strip of 8 of the V.R. Penny Black with trial cancellations; the unissued Edward VII violet 2½d on bluish paper; one of the two known Edward VII purple 6d with “I.R. OFFICIAL” overprint in private hands; important covers from Mauritius and Sarawak; as well as other rarities.;

- Several exhibit collections, including the finest one ever formed of the first periods of the Italian Republic on cover; an incredible study on the Brescia G.N.R. and a great collection of cover uses of the same topic, and a huge selection of large lots from worldwide.
