Cds (Woodall type 12) with matching grid cancels tying 5¢ dark blue (70), 1¢ gray green (75) and 2¢ purple (76) on registered cover to Seattle Wash., bold "R" oval registry handstamp, reverse with purple Skagway, Alaska (9.9) and Seattle (9.16) arrival, fresh and Very Fine, Woodall recorded very few covers from this office.

Canada, (Yukon Territory) Yukon Exposition, Aug. 14 / 17, 1912. Four-line slogan on "Dawson, Yukon, Jun 15, 1912" duplex cds tying 1¢ green (89), well centered, on picture post card to Waynesboro Pa., Very Fine and choice strike of this rare exposition marking, Less than 5 examples are recorded.

Horizontal pair with right stamp showing variety (Pane A, Position 80), large margins all around with deep rich color on bright paper, tied by indistinct four-ring numeral cancel on orange cover to New York City, "Dundas U.C., OC 20 1857" double-ring origin cds; small scissor cut between pair, Very Fine, A visually striking cover showing this desirable major plate variety....

Canada, 1852, Beaver, 3d red. Four even margins, deep rich color, tied by concentric ring cancel on orange cover to Quebec, pretty red "Pierreville L.C." circular postmark with manuscript "9th July, 1855" dating, Williamhenry (7.9) and Quebec (7.11) backstamps, an Extremely Fine gem use. SG No. 5.

Canada, 1855, Prince Albert, 6d slate gray. Margins ample to just in at upper right, rich color, tied by target handstamp on folded letter sheet to New York, N.Y., clear "Lennoxville, No 12, 1857" origin cds and red "Canada" boxed arched exchange handstamp, Very Fine, with 2005 V.G. Greene certificate. SG No. 9.

Canada, 1855, Jacques Cartier, 10d blue. Large to mostly huge margins, tied by target handstamp on mourning cover to Dundee, Scotland, matching "Quebec, L.C., May 2, 1857" origin cds, stamp additionally tied by red "Liverpool, My 17, 57" tombstone entry postmark; cover missing backflap and certificate mentions stamp may have been lifted and placed back however there is no indication of this, Extremely Fine, with 2013 V.G...

Canada, 1857, Queen Victoria, 7½d green. Neat face-free town cancel, clear to mostly large margins, rich bold color; light crease and shallow thin, Very Fine appearance. SG No. 12.

Canada, 1859, Queen Victoria, 1¢ rose, vertical strip of five. Tied by "Montreal, C.E., De 5, 60" cds and grid duplexes on cover to Kingsville, C.W., various transit and receiving backstamps; repaired cover opening at left, Very Fine appearance. SG No. 29.

Canada, 1859, Queen Victoria, 12½¢ blue green, very thick paper. Full o.g., attractively centered, rich vivid color, fresh and Very Fine, a very scarce variety, especially with full original gum, with 1999 V.G. Greene and 2000 D. Brandon certificates. Scott No. 18a var.
