1940 New Issues with 1½d Die II, 2d Die II, 5d Green Canes & 6d Die II, Suva cds of '1OC40', a little spotty but quite scarce.

1907 (Feb 18) PPC Suva to Victoria, franked on view side with 1d KEVII, tied on arrival by Melbourne killer '1' cancel with another strike on message side overstamped with boxed tax handstamp, small faults. Most unusual.

1943 'Safe Hand' Cover from the Pay Office (HMNZS) Tasman to "The Commanding Officer/H.M.S. Viti" with 'SECRET' and SAFE HAND' handstamps on face. Safe Hand covers are very rare and were only sent, via diplomatic pouches, with Government permission. Includes some notes on the Viti. [The HMFS Viti was originally the Governor's ship and was converted to war duties soon after the outbreak of war.]
