1940 (Jan 8) Command Paymaster OHMS airmail cover to HM Treasury London endorsed 'via Malta' with 1r KGVI solo tied 'COLOMBO/FOREIGN' datestamp 'PASSSED/BY/MILITARY CENSOR' diamond handstamp in red, fine condition. [The BOAC/Imperial Airways service between UK and Alexandria via Malta was extended to Calcutta on 13th October 1939 then suspended when Italy entered war on 10th June 1940]
