Gibraltar: Great Britain used in Gibraltar: The "G" Cancellations, 1858 (May 15) two wrappers despatched on the same day to the same addressee in London, carried on the “Indus”, both franked by 1856 6d. lilac on white paper with good to fine “G” cancellations, small despatch c.d.s. in blue at left, red May 21 arrivals, one 6d. with straight edge, the other with minor stain, also 1d. ‘local’ letter rate, scarce mourning envelope (repaired) addressed to a lieutenant at North Front Camp bearing 1864-79 1d. pl. 189 RA tied by “A 26” duplex, also 1880 (Mar. 11) front addressed to the British Vice-Consul at Motril franked by 1d. pl. 218 BH (faults) showing fine duplex (with “08” inverted year slug) and Carver Bros. cachet.
